ABOUT LISA

Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Lisa Weldon (formally Lisa Visser) and I am based in Broadstone, Dorset. I've always loved anything artistic and creative and have been lucky enough to have worked as a portrait photographer since 1988. The majority of my career has been spent photographing babies and children and for the last fifteen years I have been concentrating on Fine Art children's photography. I love to take meaningful and sensitive images of children.

I am a Fellow of the British Institute of Professional Photography and The Master Photographers Association. A Fellowship is the highest accolade attainable within the social photographic industry and there are only a few women in the UK who hold this qualification in Child Portraiture. My Fellowship Panel can be viewed in the gallery section. I have won many national awards of recognition for my portraits - these are listed on the Awards page - and I have also been featured in several national publications. These include:

My portraits are classically inspired with a timeless quality to them. My main objective in every photographic session is to create images of your child that you will love. I am a perfectionist and passionate about creating beautiful, simple images of children that are thoughtful, tender and emotive.
